Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of myVeeta , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for myVeeta:

  1. Layout on small screens: Content may be cut off or require horizontal scrolling on mobile and tablet devices. because The app uses a fixed-width layout and does not adapt to smaller screen sizes.. We are aware of this limitation. A responsive redesign is not currently planned.. Please access this website on a desktop or laptop computer for the best experience. If you need assistance accessing specific content, please contact us at accessibility@myveeta.com..
  2. Single page architecture including page titles: Navigating to a different section of the page does not change the title of the page. Error messages are not read out via a screenreader when navigating to the next step because The app was built as a single page app. We are aware of this limitation. A redesign of the site architecture is not currently planned.. Manually check for error messages by tabbing through content after navigating to the next step..
  3. Form fields and dropdowns: Screenreaders read out multiple labels or groups because Labels for screenreaders were added where possible but most fields are nested in other elements which leads to the screenreader reading out multiple labels and roles. We are aware of this limitation. A redesign of the form fields is not currently planned.. If you need assistance identifying specific fields, please contact us at accessibility@myveeta.com..
  4. Third party chat registration: Our chat registration is provided by a third party called Landbot. We have raised accessibility issues with them and are awaiting fixes. Find more information in the Landbot accessibility statement
